Overwater Bungalo, Bora Bora

Our trip to the Bora Bora Nui Resort began with a shuttle to the airport where we boarded a small plane to the island. We had to either PAY extra to take an extra piece of luggage, or check the extra luggage to pick up after our stay. ..

Perhaps the couple that opened their suitcase to sort out what they were taking and what they were leaving behind should have hidden their stolen Princess Cruise Lines' towels better!

We chose to take everything, so had to pay the extra fee. (no we didn't have any towels in OUR suitcases!)

Entrance way to our Bungalow
When we arrived in Bora Bora...we were taken to the resort by private yacht...what a nice touch! The bungalos themselves looked very rustic from the outside, but were anything but inside. the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!

View from under Bungalow through coffee table
This was such a relaxing stay...the perfect way to end a holiday. Snorkeling beside and under the bungalow was quite the experience, and again, the fish were so vibrant.

Great Views to sit on the deck and have a drink!

Food was very expensive, so we usually went for brunch and then dinner. They did seem to have an all inclusive rate if we had booked it directly...and that would probably have been a little less in the long run.

Our final dinner was on the deck of the restaurant.
